THE MERCADO^® GETS TESTED AT THE VIRGINIA TECH HELMET RATINGS INSTITUTE

Pendulum testing was conducted to measure resultant head-form accelerations after an impact. We compared accelerations when the head-form was outfitted with The Mercado^® headgear to when it was outfitted with other contemporary headgear models. This test was conducted to determine the reduction in acceleration afforded by The Mercado^® compared to other headgear models various combinations of impact-severity and impact-location.
